Terms of Use (Ingrevia)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Ingrevia, LLC, an Iowa limited liability company ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), regarding your use of the Ingrevia mobile application (the "App").

1. Description of the App

Ingrevia allows users to scan and analyze food ingredient lists using optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence to help identify ingredients that may be relevant to personal dietary preferences or sensitivities.

The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Not Medical Advice

The App does not provide medical advice.

• The App is not a medical device.
• The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• Information provided by the App may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
• You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical or dietary decisions.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you use the information entirely at your own risk.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do not guarantee:

• Ingredient recognition accuracy
• Completeness or reliability of results
• Suitability for your specific health condition
• Error-free or uninterrupted operation

OCR and AI technologies are inherently imperfect and may produce incorrect results.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• How you interpret and use App results
• Any decisions you make based on App output
• Verifying ingredient information when necessary

You agree not to rely exclusively on the App for health or safety decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or hack the App
• Interfere with or disrupt App functionality
• Use the App in a way that could cause harm to others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and technology used in the App are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use only.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The App may be distributed through third-party platforms such as Apple's App Store or Google Play. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Apple and Google are not responsible for the App and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to health-related, dietary, financial, or personal injury damages arising from use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ingrevia, LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations when using the App.

13. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
